British Library EThOS: Analysis of mixed-use schemes in regeneration areas

British Library EThOS: Analysis of mixed-use schemes in regeneration areas

At last, my PhD research study is available on-line thru EThOS (e-Theses Online Service) based in the UK. EThOS is the UK’s national thesis service which aims to maximize the visibility and availability of the UK’s doctoral research theses. Thru this website, it demonstrate the quality of research that were funded by the UK government which at the end provides opportunities for further research.

Since my research was funded thru VCRS - Vice Chancellor Research Scheme of the University of Ulster in Jordanstown (UUJ), Newtonabbey, Northern Ireland, EThOS helps various institutions to promote these PhDs researches funded by the UK government to be available or accessible online.

Moreover, EThOS has an aggregated record of all doctoral theses awarded by UK Higher Education institutions , and allow users to have free access to the full text. To date, there are approximately 400,000 records relating to theses awarded by over 120 institutions.

I will take this opportunity to thank the British government for sponsoring my 3-year PhD program at UUJ. It was not an easy learning experience, but it was worth taking and I do hope that the knowledge gained from the study will remind me always to inspire young people to do further higher education.
